another little hafner!

baby #3 is on the way!

i'm only 8 weeks along, so we've got a long way to go still. but i don't see the point of keeping it a secret. we've already known for 5 weeks and i've had a hard enough time keeping my mouth shut that long! so the secret's out! =)

i'm not sure how well this picture will show up, but it's a picture of the driveway. to tell shane about the pregnancy, i wrote "Good News... I'm PREGNANT! (i think we need a bigger car!)" on the driveway with sidewalk chalk. he was upstairs asleep, so i woke him up and told him the car was leaking oil and that there was a huge oil stain on the drive way. when he looked out the window, this was his view. =)

there it is! =) this is the worst first sonogram picture i've ever seen, but it was taken at the naval hospital on base, so i guess it's all i should expect. the feet are on the left, the head is the bigger part on the right. not much to look at, but proof that all this nausea is for something!

if all goes well our third little "bundle of joy" will arrive in early may. the due date is may 8th. only 221 days to go! =)

august pictures

here's some more pictures that have been hanging out on my memory card for too long...

^ one lazy sunday, shane suggested that i go to the beach by myself and he'd stay home with the boys. somehow that turned into me going to the beach with whiskey. and, while not as relaxing as it would have been by myself, i still had lots of fun with my furry baby boy. and whiskey loved it! it was his very first trip to the beach and he was very well behaved. =)

^ the next week, i took the boys to the beach with me. here they are playing in a bucket of sand and water, since they're afraid to get in the actual ocean. =)

^ teagan is braver than trevin and will get close to the water. but here he's running away as it creeps closer.

^ trevin prefers to play as far away from the ocean as possible, up against the dunes, in the sand. =)

^ teagan was a huge mess of sand and soaking wet clothes by the time we left, so he got stripped to a diaper for the ride home.

^ here is a very sandy trevin, upset that we had to go. he didn't want his picture taken.

^ trevin was feeling a little under the weather, but whiskey was there to snuggle with him and keep him company while he watched tv.

^ labor day weekend, we made the trip down to wilmington, nc to walk around the waterfront. trevin loved looking for sharks and alligators in the water... we didn't see any though. ;-)

^ and last we have a pic of teagan practicing his potty skills. he's not potty training yet, but he seems to be catching on from watching trevin. he likes sitting on the potty and getting some toilet paper. =)

chuck e cheese!!!

from late june to early august, shane was gone in california doing training exercises with his work. when he got back, we decided to treat the boys to their first trip to chuck e cheese! here's the pics... =)

these are all pictures that i've had on my camera's memory card for way too long! since the desktop computer got fried by lightning, i've been procrastinating putting these pics on the laptop since i don't like using the laptop. but it's been long enough that i need to unload some pics and make room for more. so, here you go... i've caved in and i will do my best with the laptop. =)
