HOT HOT HOT!!!

it has been ridiculously HOT here lately! mid to high 90's + the humidity = a heat index in the 100's! it's unbearable to be outside during the day, but once it "cools down" (aka high 80's/low 90's) in the evenings, we've been playing with our water toys outside.

^ unfortunately, simply dunking the gun in a bucket of water won't fill it up. sorry teagan.

^ yet another day outside. this time trayson's getting in on the fun!

^ trayson really liked relaxing in the water.

^ as did teagan. =) trevin was off playing with his dump truck, dumping dirt into the big pool.

june 2010 pictures

these are just a bunch of pictures from june.

^ i told you these were random. ;-) this is a golden orb spider who's taken up residence in our backyard. it's about 5" long. big, but not poisonous. so she stays. =)

^ this is from the morning of 6/28 when the boys woke up, snuck downstairs and helped themselves to "breakfast". they finished off a box of granola bars, a box of special k bars, 3 boxes of girl scout cookies and a box of see's suckers. not being the smartest little mischief makers, trevin found my camera and took a whole series of pictures of teagan. who's smiling his chocolate, ear-to-ear smile in all of them.

^ the best part; shane was sleeping on the couch through the whole thing! in this pic, you can even see him asleep in the background, right next to teagan's ear.

june 2010 beach day

one of my friends here lives in a condo right on topsail beach, nc. so when she invited me and the boys for a day of sun and surf, i couldn't pass her up... even if it meant toting all 3 boys to the beach by myself. but it all worked out and we had a blast!
