maynia and busch gardens

on may 21st there was a carnival on base. it was free to go, so we drug the kids out there even though it was hot and we had spent the first half of the day at a birthday party.

^ the boys on their first ride of the day. they didn't want to go on very many. teagan's complaining that he didn't get the first pick.

^ but he got over it once we got to the bounce house area. they LOVED the bounce houses!

^ did i mention it was HOT? poor trayson was stuck in the stroller.

^ trevin takes a turn down the blow up slide

^ and here comes teagan!

^ i wasn't sure if they'd follow through, but they said they wanted to wait in the 30 min line for the super slide.

^ thankfully, they didn't change their minds after all that waiting and we got to all go down together. me, trevin and teagan.

^ big smiles! success! although, trevin did end up lying down the last half of the slide and hit his head on the last bump. he didn't seem to notice though.

^ playing some games with daddy! they won!

^ group pic w/daddy!

^ group pic w/mom! can you tell they're all exhausted? it was a looooong day!

the next weekend, i had to drive up to virginia since our tenants were moving out. when my neighbor volunteered to join me, i decided to make a trip of it and we visited busch gardens in williamsburg, va while we were up there.

^ teagan wanted nothing to do with the rides and went on a total of 0 while we were there. for his first ride of the day, trevin rode the dragon by himself.

^ we didn't get too far into our day before it POURED on us. our friends were on the merry go round while we waited outside in an uncovered area. i body-blocked the stroller to keep teagan and trayson as dry as possible, but trevin and i had to grin and bear it.

^ i brought one small towel with us, thinking we might get splashed on a water ride, but instead, teagan ended up hiding under it for the majority of the trip. he hates rain.

^ despite my best efforts, trayson was soaked. but he didn't seem to mind at all. way to go buddy! =D

^ no amount of rain would stop trevin and his friend, isabella, from riding as many rides as they could! the grown up rides got closed down due to the downpour, so me and my friend were out of luck... which turned into great luck for the kids since only kid rides were running!

^ what a sport! trayson was such a trooper, hanging out in the stroller all day, taking in the sights. =)

^ still wet, but still riding rides!
